Placing 1-2-3 in their first appearance at one of the most brutal off-road races, The King of The Hammers, The Ford Bronco has re-established itself as one of the most durable and versatile vehicles for off-roading. If you made it here, chances are you wanted to see how your new Bronco might look on Method Race Wheels. If you’re looking for a little inspiration for wheels, you’ve made it to the right place. In no particular order, here are our top five 6th Gen Bronco builds.
First up we have Ford Performance and Method racer Brad Lovell's Bronco 4600. The 4600 is built on the 2021 Bronco two-door Sasquatch package powered by a race-tested production 2.7-liter EcoBoost twin-turbo V6 mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The King of The Hammers, one the brutalist off-road races, was the Bronco 4600's first test and it didn't disappoint. They went an impressive 1-2-3 on the podium, with Brad Lovell coming in second. Taking inspiration from early Broncos that found their way into rural fire departments for fire and rescue duties over the years, BDS set out to create the "Fire Command" Bronco. Built with a backwoods fire/ rescue theme, it's designed to help a fire chief or command-lead get on-site quickly. Starting with a Black Diamond edition 2021 Ford Bronco 2 door and after some serious fabrication, BDS created a one-of-a-kind short wheelbase 1/2 cab Bronco truck. The final product is reminiscent of the original Bronco 1/2 cab hardtop option. See more of this Bronco here.
The 4 Wheel Part’s you see here started its life as a Black Diamond edition. First thing 4WP did was a lift with their coilovers and high angle tubular upper control arm. You’ll also find the new front bumper that provides a ton of clearance and will allow you to get through obstacles without rubbing into the body. This 4WP Bronco has also been fitted with our 310 Con 6 Standard Matte Black wheels. See more about this build here.
With their latest build, Baja Kits set out to create one of the first long-travel kits for the Ford Bronco. They started out with a 2021 Ford Bronco Outer Banks edition as the platform, which is typically a more city focused iteration. The Outer Banks edition comes standard with a 2.3L Eco Boost engine (Baja Kits opted for the 2.7L here), 10-speed automatic transmission, GOAT (Go Over All Terrains) modes, 4WD, and removable doors and roof. Baja Kits long travel kit transforms the already capable Bronco into an off-road beast. See more of this build here.
